Half In Half Out

**The name of this deviation is inspired by the movie "Constantine" when Constantine holds up the cat and claims that cats are half in and half out of hell.**

If you didn't read the little portion of "Borderline" from deviation "Dragon Guardian" please do so. That's the only way you'll understand this.

Touya, an orphan, receives his dragon at the age of two. The dragon's name is Hephaestus and is the dragon of the "Calamity Flame".

The picture depicts Touya when he is 19. Randomly and sometimes fueled by anger, he'll transform and unconsciously call on Hephaestus, who can do damage if turned loose, but then try to control the change. This is when he's roughly half human, and half dragon.

Hephaestus: He is rough and tough and a big brute, but like Touya, all hearts of stone can be penetrated by a diamond. That diamond would be Ruriko, a witch who was 'destined' to fall in love with him and join the two clans. However, she hates Touya, his arrogant and oblivious ways and everything mean about him. But Hephaestus secretly loves Ruriko, not to Touya's knowledge, and will stay under control only if she is near. Otherwise, he would turn into exactly what his power was named for: "The Calamity Flame"
